Recess Football is a dedicated stats and leaderboard app built for a single grade level's recess football league. It turns everyday playground games into a real season: every catch, yard, touchdown, drop, interception, and sack gets tracked, and the results show up on a live leaderboard that updates the moment new stats are entered.
The app is for the players themselves. Anyone can open it and see the full standings, sort and compare players, dig into individual stat lines, and watch how rankings shift from week to week. Logged-in users get a personalized "My Stats" view of their own season, an AI assistant that can answer questions about the league and general football, and a settings screen to tune the experience. Admins can enter stats in bulk, manage players, and keep the data accurate.
Beyond the raw numbers, Recess Football celebrates the season with weekly snapshots, rank movers, a "Best Weekly Player" badge, and milestone alerts that fire when a player crosses a major threshold. A compare tool puts any two players head-to-head, and the history page lets you revisit any past week of the season.
Recess Football is built and maintained by AY. If you have questions, found a bug, or have an idea to improve the app, reach out any time at aygalston@gmail.com or visit the Contact page.
